I specialize in plant-focused landscape design, often called softscaping. While traditional landscapers focus on stone and concrete construction, my expertise lies in selecting the perfect living layers—flowers, native grasses, shrubs, and ornamental trees—to make your yard breathtaking.
By designing detailed 2D digital layouts and planting schemas, I provide homeowners with a scientific, artistic blueprint to renovate their outdoor spaces.
With a B.S. in Environmental and Forestry Sciences and an M.S. in Landscape Design and Management, I bring academic expertise and field experience to your home. I previously owned a successful local landscaping company where I designed and supervised over a hundred gardens.
Today, I focus exclusively on my true passion: bringing curated plant designs into residential properties across Allegheny, Butler, Westmoreland, Washington, and Beaver counties.

Whether you want to learn correct pruning techniques, seasonal cleanups, or how to identify and care for your native plant species, I offer customized on-site workshops for individual homeowners and groups.

Softscape refers to the living, organic elements of your landscape (flowers, shrubs, trees, soil). I specialize in designing these elements to create beautiful, sustainable yard layouts, leaving heavy hardscaping construction (paving, stone structures) to build contractors.
It begins with an on-site consultation to assess sun, soil, and drainage. I then create a custom 2D digital layout plan and a detailed planting list. Finally, I present the design to you online, and we can discuss the best options for installation.
I focus exclusively on consultations, design plans, and educational workshops. After providing your custom 2D digital landscaping blueprint, I help you find and coordinate with reliable local landscape installers to bring the design to life.
